I started my career as a musician at Disneyworld where I played in the All-American College Orchestra. I liked being part of an orchestra but on my salary I could hardly afford 25 cent beers at my favorite dive bar, The Big Easy (on lady’s night). I continued to pursue music but really hated being poor. Then I tried stand-up comedy. It was muuuuuuuch worse!
I still don’t make any money doing musical comedy but for some reason I like it. It takes a ton of time and money to perform and you’re lucky if anyone watching is paying attention. It’s like the fairy tale career I’ve always dreamed about. My brothers and sisters all became doctors. They’re losers.
I’ve recently delved into the world of music video with “The Devil Joins Tinder”. I like producing funny videos too. They can be pretty expensive to put together but I don’t any need money for frivolous purposes like childcare. I grew up as a musician so I’m used to getting paid with free beer. In fact, I’m happiest that way.
That’s about it. I guess I can mention I got my MBA from UCLA about 15 years ago. That was fun but it hasn’t helped my comedy career. None of my professors were very funny.
I’m also a single mom of a 5 year old. He makes an appearance in “The Devil Joins Tinder” video. I love him lots. He’s a great snuggler.
